IOSH Managing Safely

Managing Safely comprises seven core modules and a client-specific one. The timetable can be delivered over four consecutive days or one day per week over four weeks. Delegates are encouraged to discuss workplace examples and will be required to carry out a risk assessment as part of the final assessment.
Aimed at people in the organisation who have to manage risk and resources. It provides them with the necessary knowledge and skills to help them manage safely and effectively in compliance with their organisation’s policy and current best practice in health and safety.
The core modules are:
- Managing safely
- Reactive monitoring
- Risk assessment and risk control
- Health and safety legislation
- Common hazards
- Active monitoring
- Safety management systems
Duration – 4 days
